On 10 October 2026, the Fiji Nursing Council joins the nation in celebrating 56 years of independence. Fiji Day is a time to reflect on the journey that has shaped us as one people and to give thanks for the peace, unity and progress we share.
The Council pays special tribute to the nurses and midwives across Fiji, from our urban hospitals to the most remote health centres. Your dedication and compassionate care keep our communities strong and healthy.
